Turn the Talk Workshop - What you can expect on the day!

We’re excited to host our first Turn the Talk Workshop on Thursday 4th July at The Trampery Old Street. Here is what you can expect on the day!

Doors will open at 14:00 for registration and networking.

We kick off at 14:30 with a welcome session and keynote delivered by Chris Grimes, co-founder of Second Curve.

The afternoon will then follow with four sessions, all addressing key themes and challenges raised in Turn the Talk's survey on public speaking.

  • Jo Hind, co-founder of Birdsoup, will be discussing neves and how to overcome them

  • Helen Southgate, EMEA MD of Acceleration Partners will tackle how to effectively plan and prepare yourself for a big presentation

  • Tina Judic, CEO of Found will talk about the importance of authenticity and how to still be yourself on the stage

  • Vix Leyton, Head of PR at carwow, will share her journey and how public speaking practice makes perfect

For the final session of the day we'll be joined by Performance Marketing Consultant, Caroline Mulvihill, Kevin Edwards, Global Client Strategy Director at Awin, Rakhee Jogia, VP, Strategic Partnerships & Supply at Rakuten and Simon Bird, Co-founder of RevLifter. Albeit familiar industry faces, the panel will share how they manage public speaking and how their approach has changed over time. We’ll quiz the panel on their thoughts of how the industry needs change to get new and diverse speakers on the stage.

The event will close at 17:30, but we're hosting after-event drinks at Roadtrip Bar for anyone wishing to join us!

Thank you to our sponsors!

This event wouldn’t be possible without the support of our Partners, so a massive thanks to Affiliate Summit, Awin, PI Live, Rakuten Marketing, Revlifter, TopCashback and Webgains.
